My Sister's 36th

Went for a drink with one of my friends Tim at Humperdink's on Northwest Highway.
For my sister's 36th we went to Strikz in Frisco. We had a wonderful time at the bowling alley. My 8-year-old niece is showing of her bowling style ... She still uses the bumpers but actually does not even need to anymore ... Maybe next time, we will make it a little bit more challenging for her.
My sister has picked her favorite bowling ball and is looking her daughter one as she throws a spare.
Afterwards we treated my sister to a nice dinner at the Cheesecake Factory in Frisco (Stonebriar Mall). Posted by Picasa

Bowling and Biking

I ran into an old friend of mine, Brooke. She also used to live in Colleyville, but moved to San Antonio for her job. I met up with Brad, Lucas, Ryan and Casey for a round og bowling ... I ended up with a 176 ... not bad, huh?!
My friend Daniel and I went on a long bike ride from La Villita to downtown Las Colinas.
This is where I used to live 7 years ago. The apartment complex was called Columbus Shores and provided beautiful views of Lake Carolyn.
During the bike ride I got some nice views of the buildings in downtown Las Colinas. Posted by Picasa

Amsterdam - Part 5

One of the ways to get into the city is by train ... They have two levels and are pretty comfortable to ride. A round-trip ticket from Leiden (where van Gogh lived) to Amsterdam is about $20.
Amsterdam has a couple of parks and places for people to relax or walk.
The rijksmuseum is the home of many pieces of art ... Many Rembrandts can be found here.
The "Nightwatch" is undisputably the most well-known painting of Rembrandt. It is pretty big painting. Posted by Picasa

Amsterdam - Part 4

Many bikes are parked outside the Central train station in Amsterdam. The typical Dutch bicycle looks quite different from the American mountain bike.
Here is a nice picture of the train station with the many bikes in front. Most of the taxis in the country are pretty nice ... Mercedes, BMS, and Audi are the main brands.
Here is a view of the homes in Amsterdam next to the Grasshopper, one of the we-known coffee shops in the city.

Supporting The Troops

The flag is out for the troops in Iraq now that we are still at war. You may not agree with the reasons why we are at war (I don't), but now that we are there, we are responsible for cleaning up the mess and restoring order in the region.

At the beach you can sit down for a cup of coffee while enjoying the ocean breeze.
During my parents' 45th anniversary, I held a speech and awarded them with an oscar for the world's best parents. My parents were delighted!
