Schevening - A City On The Beach

Here is a picture of the Kurhaus on the promenade overlooking the sea. This building serves as a hotel/casino and was occupied by the Germans during WWII when it served as one of the main quarters from many Nazi's.
We had dinner on the pier ... and ofcourse we finished our meal with a nice desert which included sparkles.
A statue has been placed in the middle of a hill surrounded by grass in the dunes. Looks pretty interesting.
They had these parrots at the entrance of the pier that repeated several words that you would say to them. Posted by Picasa
